Kyle Bennet was a 33 year old professional BMX rider who passed away recently in a single car wreck in Conroe Texas. Bennett was a three time BMX world champion and Kyle also represented the Team USA BMX Olympic Team. Bennet was an american bicycle motocross racer and dirt jumper. Kyle had his best years of competition were from 1999 to 2012. He was given the nickname Butter for his smooth riding style which you can watch in the video below.

According to the Montgomery County Police Reporter Bennett’s 2006 Toyota Tundra was traveling way over the speed limit that when it left the road it hit a ditch and an iron gate. The accident took place at 2:16 a.m. on Sunday and unfortunately Bennett was pronounced dead at the scene. Furthermore the newspaper that wrote about the wreck also reported that he was not wearing a seat belt.
USA Cycling CEO Steve Johnson in a statement said: All of us at USA Cycling were deeply saddened to learn this morning of the tragic and untimely loss of Kyle, Kyle was a pioneer in Olympic BMX and an inspiration to those of us that knew him. He will be sorely missed, and we offer our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
