Michael Clarke Duncan was a well known American actor who starred in movies like The Green Mile Armageddon The Whole Nine Yards The Scorpion King Planet of the Apes and Daredevil. He also did voice over roles in cartoon films such as Brother Bear and Kung Fu Panda.
Michael Clarke Duncan was best known for Oscar nominated breakout role in the film The Green Mile as John Coffey. The 1999 film, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, starred Tom Hanks as a corrections officer at a penitentiary in the 1930s. Duncan played John Coffey, a convicted murderer.

Monday was both an unfortunate and very sad day all across the globe especially in Los Angeles as news of Michaels Death spread. The 6 foot 5 height 325 pound actor who is a giant muscular man who always wears a smile and has a shine in his eye died on monday after having a massive heart attack. The movie star passed away early in the day at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at age 54. His rep confirmed this information to the Daily News stating that Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered.

Duncan’s Publicist Joy Fehily released a statement from his fiancée, “the Rev. Omarosa Manigault stated the 54 year old actor died Monday morning in a Los Angeles hospital after nearly two months of treatment that followed his July 13 heart attack. Unfortunately there was just nothing more doctors could do and the time and unresponsiveness just caught up.
