Swine Flu Swine influenza also known as pig influenza, swine flu, hog flu and pig flu because it is an infection caused by a virus in pigs. Every year around the fall season when the coughing and sneezing starts to kick in people start getting a little ill and rush to the Hospital requesting a flu shot. Flu shots have become an annual thing for most people in order not to get sick during winter time. Some of the symptoms that come with Swine Flu include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chill and fatigue. We would also suggest getting some good rest and a healthy food intake in preparation for the flu season or to help fight against the virus if you already have it. Lots of fruits, vegetables and nuts or grains will strengthen your immune system. Moreover and again it is only a suggestion but as a last resort you can go and get a Flu Shot from the doctors office. Along with a healthy lifestyle you should wash your hands with soap and water before and after eating. Also avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth whenever possible through out the day because you don’t know what germs could be on your hands. Keeping a sanitizer in your car or bag for daily use can also be a very big help because you can use it often through out the day. Moreover you can start to avoid crowds of people as flu season kicks in in your area.
