War Peace and The United Nations

War is an organized armed and often a prolonged conflict that is carried on between states or nations or other opposing parties typified by extreme agression, social disruption resulting in high mortality. War should be understood as an actual intentional and wide spread armed conflict between political communities therefore you get the phrase political violence. The set of techniques used by a group to carry out war is known as warfare. An absence of war is usually called Peace.

Peace is a state of harmony characterized by the lack of violent conflict and the freedom from fear of violence. Peace is commonly understood as the absence of hostility. The word peace also suggests the existence of healthy interpersonal or international relationships resulting with prosperity in matters of social or economic welfare. Peace is the establishment of equality and a working political order that serves the true interests of all humankind. In international relations peacetime is not only the absence of War or violent conflict but also the presence of positive and respectful cultural and economic relationships.

The United Nations also known as the UN is an international organization whose stated aims are facilitating cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, social progress, human rights and achievement of World Peace. The UN was founded in 1945 after World War II to replace the League of Nations in order to stop wars between countries and to provide a platform for dialogue between political parties.

Ok so now that we have an understanding for the three terms lets brain storm a little bit. If the UN was created with a main goal to achieve World Peace than seriously what’s going on..?

Now there’s a serious issue going on with the world and people need to wake up. There is a Terrorist group that has stood proudly and made countless statements to wipe both The United States of America and Israel off the map. I still don’t understand how this is ok..?
